The EasyEcu MICRO controller was created by reducing the functionality of the EasyEcu 3+ controller. However, it is a fully-fledged standalone controller. It will successfully find use in simpler applications where price is a key factor. By reducing the number of leads, connecting the controller takes very little time and is less complicated. The controller has 4 ignition outputs (for active coils) and 2 injector outputs, which theoretically allows it to be used in engines with 2, 4, 6 or even 8 cylinders. The controller supports triggers in the form of gears, e.g. 60-2, 36-1 and wasted spark and distributor ignition systems.
The hardware capabilities (inputs/outputs) of the EasyEcu MICRO controller are as follows:
- 2 high-resistance injector outputs (in one or two banks)
4 ignition outputs for active coils (so-called logic level 5V)
1 idle speed valve (electromagnetic type)
1 fuel pump relay
1 boost valve output
1 12V tachometer output
1 crankshaft position input (VR or HALL)
1 vehicle speed sensor input
1 engine temperature sensor input
1 intake air temperature sensor input
1 throttle position sensor input
1 narrowband lambda probe input
1 functional input (e.g. start procedure switch)
1 knock sensor input
The EasyEcu MICRO device is intended exclusively for motorsport and combustion engine testing and cannot be used on public roads!
